What We Do
The duties of the County Assessor are to discover all assessable property, inventory and list all taxable property, determine its value, and enroll that value on the local assessment roll. We apply all legally authorized exemptions accurately and consistently to ensure fair and equitable assessments throughout Santa Cruz County.
